The London to Brighton Sponsored Cycle
Ride
Saturday 25th June 2011
The sponsored ride will follow the famous London to Brighton
route. The date of the event will be Saturday 25th June 2011,
starting at Clapham Common and finishing on the sea front-beach
(1 mile along from Brighton Pier).
There will be various staging points along the route,
where refreshments will be available. If your Lodge cannot provide
a rider, please consider manning one of the staging points and
providing refreshments to the riders. The camaraderie this event
has created has given everyone who has taken part a lot of pleasure.
This will be a fun Family day out. Wives, children,
grandchildren and friends are invited to take part. The only restriction
is that entrants must be over 15years old for the main ride. However,
children or grandchildren under 15 years can join the main riders
at Brighton Pier later in the day and ride the last 1 mile to
the finishing point along the sea front.
A BBQ and refreshments will be available from 12noon,
for all who take part.
