Brethren,

On the 3rd of August 2009 I visited ASPIRE, which is based at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, where I presented a Grand Charity cheque for £20,000 to Andrew Dunham and Chris Field, Fund Raisers for the organisation. As neither ASPIRE nor I had any special occasion in the foreseeable future at which to make a formal presentation I felt it better for them to have the money at that time rather than for the cheque to get too old to be paid into a bank account.

Months later on the 24th November I was invited by ASPIRE to represent The Grand Charity at ASPIRE's Book Launch of "It's My Life - a collection of stories from people with spinal cord injury" at City Hall, London, which I duly did. During the evening I met many people from the organisation including the Vice President Angie Jones.I also met again with Andrew Dunham and Chris Field
