“Promoting Freemasonry through sport”

Born out of the idea, that if we are to raise funds for worthy causes,
why not have fun at the same time, the MMSA has been raising funds for
Masonic and other charities through the promotion of sporting and social
events for many years. To date we have given over
£225,000 to various deserving causes.

For the past 25 years the Association has been a proud sponsor of the
British Wheelchair Sports Foundation (now Wheelpower) helping wheelchair
athletes to compete at the last 5 Paralympic Games. Although all charities
are considered, as the Paralympics are to be held in London in 2012,
we continue to support this very worthy cause. In the Beijing 2008
games the British team achieved second overall.
We wish them continued success as we look forward to 2012.
