Ickenham St Giles visit to Grand Lodge

Ickenham St Giles organized a visit to Grand Lodge on Saturday 5th July,
the cost for the day £20 per person which included lunch at a local Italian restaurant.
Four potential candidates attended the visit together with their sponsors and a further
gathering of Masons and their ladies. A total of thirty attended the tour , which included a
visit to the Grand Lodge Museum. Starting at 10.30am the tour lasts for approximately
1.5 hours. All who took part learnt something new, no matter what their ‘length of service’.

It was also nice to see the ladies genuinely enjoying themselves, both at Grand Lodge and
later at the restaurant. The event was primarily arranged by Paul Sully to enthuse
younger Masons and attract possible candidates. The day also raised £60,
which will be on it’s way to the TLC fund shortly.
The day was a total success on all accounts.
